ŁËX is how you interpret him. ŁËX is the escape you couldn't find but also the loneliness that never left. He is a spitting image conflicting self identity whilst being the bastard child of everything wrong and right with the world. This duality is demonstrated in the pure range of musical ability.

ŁËX represents the true charismatic embodiment of what it is like to be truly like to be an outsider. The spitting image of alternative - To not conform to one style or genre. To challenge and dare to feel. To be sad. To be happy. ŁËX dares to step outside of the brackets and produce whatever he wants to, when he wants to, because he wants to. ŁËX is potentially an artist you didn't know you needed.... but you do now. Do you dare to feel?

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO GET INTO MUSIC?

I would definitely say my upbringing played a huge part. My mother listened to allsorts of music that rubbed off on me growing up listening to the likes of Meatloaf, KISS, ACDC, Bryan Adams and Cher. However on my father's side, he was a radio presenter for BIG CITY RADIO BIRMINGHAM in the early 2010's meaning i was always around when he would do his shows during his time with us on the weekends. Ive always been surrounded by music and developed a strong admiration for the performing arts.

Fireflies - Owl City

WHO WERE YOUR MUSIC INFLUENCES GROWING UP?

Growing up i was a massive fan of Black veil brides, Linkin Park and Twenty One Pilots. They truly shaped the diverse music taste id adopt in later life.

Knives and pens - BVB

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR SOUND?

At the moment I’m definitely finding a newfangled taste for the 90s rock scene as I feel it isn’t spoken about enough as much as the 80s era. I fuse this with the sounds I’m already passionate about and was raised on by combining elements of angst, anxiety, mania and pure electric feel to create pumping anthem tracks.

Motorcycle Emptiness - Manic Street Preachers

WHAT TRACK HAVE YOU BEEN LISTENING TO LATELY?

I’ve been listening to a lot more live recordings lately, especially those from live albums.

Bat out of hell - Meatloaf (live)

WHAT IS AN UNDERRATED SONG THAT MORE PEOPLE SHOULD HEAR?

A band that I’ve had the privilege to meet ½ of, the once great “Pretty Vicious” were a fantastic punk band from Wales. I’ve been a big fan of their album, Beauty of Youth and wish they never broke up. Lovely guys in person though

These Four Walls - Pretty Vicious

WHAT'S A SONG YOU WISH YOU HAD WRITTEN?

Without a shadow of a doubt… my favourite song of all time:

Eyes without a face - Billy Idol

WHAT TRACK CAPTURES YOUR MOOD ON TOUR?

Any time I’m privileged enough to be on the road, I’m always listening to how other people do it, such as live albums, that get me in the mood to hit the stage

21st Century Liability - Yungblud (live from Brixton Academy)

WHAT'S YOUR GO TO TRACK FOR GETTING IN THE ZONE PRE-SHOW?

Nothing specific but it tends to be a song that either pumps me up or a song that we are going to cover in the set

Faint - Linkin Park

IF YOUR MUSIC WAS A SOUNDTRACK - WHAT FILM WOULD IT BE?

Genuinely anything from the marvel scene, especially Spiderman

NEW LISTENERS - WHICH TRACK SHOULD THEY HEAR FIRST?

This song is essentially phase 1 of me pursuing a more personal, honest, and gritty style of writing. It’s a true story that perfectly encapsulates my mindset from a frozen moment in time. The only way I could move past my emotions is by writing them into music and releasing the tension and angst into distortion. The result perfectly describes who I am and where I’m going.

Wide Awake - ŁËX

WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE SONG YOU'VE WRITTEN?

It’s unreleased at the moment but my song sabotage is yet again another reflection of true events and emotions that I have faced in my life. It’s a very accurate and genuine portrayal of my mind at the time and I cannot wait for the world to hear it.

Sabotage - ŁËX
